week 12..

My greatest experience in Jittery Joe's has been being able to work and learn how to do all kinds of drinks. Being able to actually work there and just have fun while working with the partner that I was put to be there with.

week 11...

A job I will really want to have is to be a secretary. Here at Jittery Joe's I've received skills like how to welcome people once they have arrived and how to be able to express my self and satisfy what they need. I'm not really sure what you need to actually get this job but for sure you need high school diploma.

week 10...

The biggest achievement I've had so far this semester is actually being able to pass my class. Even tough it was just one because I had it rough at the beginning but I made it.

week 9..

One of the hardest things I had to do in Jittery Joe's is learning how to use the espresso machine. I never seemed to figure out how to use it, I will always have to ask for help. Also making the espressos was hard I never seemed to figure out which one was which I will always have to go to the recipe list to figure out how to do them. If there was something I could change will be the espresso sale because it's just so hard to memorize all the recipes.

week 8...

Working at Jittery Joe's has change the way I look and spend money. I've realize how frustrating it could be to earn money and how one easy dollar could change everything.Now I tend to actually think if I want to spend certain amount on money, I mean I check if it's worth it or not because if it's not I know that the money I'm about to spend may be needed later on for something more important.Money just became something really important to me now. I've learned how to value money for what is worth.

week 7..

In the beginning of the semester I had a hard time trying to get establish working in Jittery Joe's. It was probably the hardest time having to learn how to use the equipment and how to actually do the variety of drinks we offer. Well here at Jittery Joe's our most famous drink is a Strawberry smoothie and that day I had a costumer ordered one, so here I come getting all of the ingredients ready to make it when this costumer starts bragging that the smoothie better come out good tasting. Instantly I got nervous and started worrying if the smoothie was gonna come out good tasting. Once I was done I gave him the smoothie to try, he took a sip and started bragging all over again about me not knowing what and how to do a smoothie. I ignored him but was mad at the same time it's upseting when costumers talk smack to you and your not allow to talk back because you want to show good costumer service. I resolve the problem by ignoring him and that tend to fix it cause he suddenly just stoped.

week 6...

Here at Jittery Joe's I tend to feel physically good while working. I tend to greet me costumers well and try to have fun while serving. Working a Jittery Joe's has grant me to meet a whole bunch of new people and makes me feel good because I know who I can play with and who I know I just have to be plain serious with. Once I'm clocked out of the coffee shop I tend to just go plain smile and be nice but not as talkative as I will be if I was at Jittery Joe's.

week 5...

Working at Jittery Joe's is a little difficult having to learned a lot of new stuff. But a problem I had that I won't forget is when it comes to doing the x-reports in the cashier. See once you do the x-report you know if your over or under the amount your suppose to have. That day I started doing the report and notice we were about $25 under. When I saw this I was shock I didn't know what to do because it was just a big amount of money going lost. A that moment all I had left to do was to go call Mrs.Scredon because I didn't know what to do. When she arrived she went over it and notice we had several errors done, so indeed we where just $1.30 under. When she said that I felt a huge relieve. In the future I've learned that when you work in a cashier as soon as you come in to your shift, the best thing to do is the reports because if there's an error you will know that it wasn't you and are able to fix it before you put any more money in.

week 4...

Working in Jittery Joe's I've experience this problem many times, at the beginning it was really hard to solve this problem because I didn't want to think I was stingy. At first I will act like I didn't hear them and kept on doing what is was doing. Then I learned to tell them that I couldn't because we had a camera watching us at every moment and I didn't want to get in trouble. But lately I've learned to just answer no. In the future I will probably do the same thing learning how to say no has work allot mostly because they don't ask me that again.

week 3..

When Jittery Joe's is running slow we've learned that instead of sitting down and wasting time we check and look what needs to be fix. One of the thinks you always need to do no matter if its busy or not is stacking up, checking that we have all our products out. Cleaning is another basic thing we have to do. Keeping our counters, microwaves, and all our surroundings clean and fresh so our costumers have a first good impression.

week 2...

One of my favorite moments in I've had in Jittery Joe's, when it come to costumer service is about 2 or 3 weeks ago. We were having all kinds of visitors coming to PLC and a couple of ladies came by from the other side of the building. When they go near I did the normal routine stand up, and ask if I could help them, they respond yes and ask me if we had any kind of candy. Sadly I respond no because here at Jittery Joe's we have a healthy menu, so I started offering everything we had. I was approximately 15 minutes there till finally i was able to satisfied them with strawberry smothies its sweet like a candy but also healthy and good. I enjoy this experience because I learned that u dont give up when it comes to costumers.
